The update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has just launched last Friday and it adds many new features to the game that actually make a second run through worthwhile rather than just an afterthought. The New Game Plus feature is of course the biggest feature in this update is the big thing of this update but because of the added in features.
The added ability to level down in this game at the inns located throughout Alrest will make sure that you can choose the pacing of the game. As the game won't go stale, it's new features and everything in game will keep Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fresh which is something usually not seen with an RPG's New Game Plus, all of which I intend to look forward to in my second play through.
This second playthrough will prove to be more than just keeping all of my stuff while playing through the storyline again. The first thing I did was to take my 93 Common Core Crystals and see if I can try obtaining one of the Tornan Blades, and to my surprise I actually managed to pick up Patroka's Blade Perdido along with KOS-MOS who I missed out on in my first playthrough of the game. While the new blades seem nice, They have less customization options as they're not actually able to use any core chips to change their weapons.
