In the previous week, a new feature in My Nintendo has allowed people to use their gold points in order to reduce the price of games and DLC in the eShop for the Switch. Also from this point on, the amount of gold points earned from purchases in any of Nintendo's eShops have changed now giving us 5% of the value of the game. So if we were to take a 59.99 game on the eShop, you would gain 300 points, about three dollars in points, a penny per point.
In weeks before that one, for anyone on Gamestop's Powerup Rewards program, Gamestop now allows people to redeem their points for Nintendo eShop codes. So for the people who have hundreds of thousands of points built up over the years you can redeem them for a bunch of ten dollar codes for the eShop. That's actually the problem with this you can only do it for ten dollar codes at a time, but putting up with that for nearly hundreds of dollars in eShop credits at the price of 11,000 points for a ten dollar code. And because these codes add money into the eShop account, any purchases would be fair game for gold points so if someone were to get $700 by redeeming 770,000 points and then spending it all, 3,500 gold points would be earned and that would be another few dollars you didn't spend back in your pocket for Smash Bros dlc

Hi can I redeem my points for xbox?
ReplyDeleteYes you can. Essentially just log onto the power up rewards site and look around for it. You should be able to find it there
